Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate’s Triumph at the 2024 Veritas Wine Awards was certainly a moment worth celebrating! We are thrilled to share the exciting news from the recent Veritas Wine Awards! Benguela Cove Wine Estate has once again proven itself as a leader in the South African wine industry, adding to our growing collection of accolades. 

This year, we were proud to win Gold Medals for our 2020 Vinography Cabernet Sauvignon and 2021 Estate Syrah, both of which showcase the unique terroir of our estate and the dedication of our talented winemaking team. The Cabernet Sauvignon, what really sets this wine apart is its bold physique, which is expertly balanced by neat tannins that provide structure without being overpowering, while the Estate Syrah is a true masterpiece, crafted with precision and passion, and it's sure to delight even the most discerning wine lover. 

The highlight of our awards haul was undoubtedly the Double Gold Medal awarded to our 2021 Lighthouse Moody Lagoon. This exceptional wine is a testament to our commitment to crafting high-quality, terroir-driven wines that reflect the beauty of our coastal location.
