The King Price Race to the Sea 2025 offers two distinct challenges, each promising a unique and rewarding experience. Join us for the fourth year of celebrating unforgettable cycling adventures.

100 Mile Journey: Franschhoek to Hermanus

The 100 Mile Journey: Franschhoek to Hermanus

  • Begin at the iconic Huguenot Memorial Monument in Franschhoek

  • Traverse 164 kilometres (100 miles) of diverse terrain, including gravel, asphalt, and single track. Finish at Benguela Cove Wine Estate, where a well-deserved celebration awaits. 

This route promises a test of endurance and skill, rewarding riders with panoramic views and a sense of accomplishment. 

The 50 Mile Journey: The Halfway Challenge

  • Why not challenge yourself to a new 50-mile option, perfect for riders aged 15 and above.

  • Start at the Halfway Point of the 100-mile route. Cover 82 kilometres with 1444 metres of elevation gain. 

This option opens the event to a wider range of participants, offering a challenging yet achievable goal.
