New Season of Events and Entertainment
Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate is launching a fresh calendar of events showcasing South African wine, food, and culture. This picturesque Hermanus estate invites guests to enjoy a range of activities throughout August and September 2024.

Weekly Events and Entertainment
Saturday Park Run: Join us every Saturday morning at 08:00 for the 5km Benguela Cove Park Run. Breakfast served from 08:30. At Moody Lagoon restaurant. This is the ultimate way to start your weekend surrounded by breathtaking vineyards and stunning views.
Family Sharing Sunday Lunch: Enjoy a traditional roast at Moody Lagoon Restaurant every Sunday. Enjoy a succulent whole-roasted chicken with white wine and mushroom butter, or overnight braised lamb shoulder. Served with a generous selection of side dishes, including; dauphinoise potato, green beans, almond vinaigrette, orange caramelised carrots, house salad, Yorkshire pudding and freshly baked ciabatta.
August Highlights
Women’s Day Tea and Family Day Adventure Golf Competition: Celebrate National Women’s Day with an elegant tea, lunch or tasting experience and enjoy a family-friendly Pirate Adventure golf competition on Friday, 9 August.
South African Botanical Society Talk and Garden Tour: Learn about conservation, how to practically apply climate-smart gardening techniques, using attractive indigenous plants and natural methods at the free BotSoc talk on 23 August, followed by a guided nature walk. Guests will also get to enjoy a variety of tasters, with an indigenous plant theme (tantalizing indigenous fruit jams, and fynbos honey on fresh scones). PLUS, each attendee will receive a complimentary gift (plant lovers take note!). Limited to 30 guests, book in advance to avoid disappointment.
King Price Race to the Sea 2024: This 100-mile challenge ending at Benguela Cove on 31 August offers participants and spectators plenty to do, including wine tasting, vineyard safaris, and eco-cruises.

Heritage Day Celebration: Celebrate South African culture with a traditional feast on 24 September. Pair your meal with a visit to the art gallery.
