Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate has won the Innovative Wine Tourism Experience of the Year in the Best of Wine Tourism Awards for 2024 for the Cape Winelands region. The Best Of Wine Tourism Awards recognise wineries in each of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network’s member cities for the excellence of their facilities, in seven different categories, from art and culture to sustainable wine tourism.
Benguela Cove Wine Estate is a member of the Benguela Collection international wine and hospitality group and is owned by the Streeter family. Situated on the Hermanus Wine Route, the estate's unique location in a tranquil lagoon at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean sets the stage for an outstanding wine tourism destination.
