March News and Harvest Update

Sun, soil, sea, Sauvignon Blanc

Harvest Update:

Most great stories start with a bottle, ours starts with a grape.

“I believe in combining the best efforts of earth and man to produce beautiful wine, I believe in sustainable viticulture practices, ensuring our estate not only produce exceptional wines but also preserve their unique environments for future generations.”

- Johann Fourie, our Cellarmaster

Vinography Sauvignon Blanc

Once again, our 2025 harvest was approached with respect and admiration for mother nature’s gift.

The first pickings of our Vinography Sauvignon Blanc were a stark reminder of how privileged we are to be the custodians of 2.6km vineyards engulfed by the ocean, grown at the lowest altitude in South Africa of a mere 2.7m above sea level. These extraordinary circumstances are highlighted by the unique characteristics that shape our Vinography Sauvignon Blanc year-on-year.

Sauvignon Blanc, the Wild Vine

Each special vineyard parcel is diarised throughout its growing season, vinification and maturation until its time of release.

Join us on Saturday, 29 March, for our first intimate series of ‘Stories from the Cellar’ and be captivated by our cellarmaster Johann and winemaker Michelle’s tales.

Entice your taste buds for this special event today, by acquiring your share of our limited quantity Vinography Sauvignon Blanc 2023 now.
