Benguela Cove Wine Estate stood out at the 28th Annual Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards on August 30, 2024, in Cape Town. Our commitment to quality and excellence was recognized with multiple prestigious awards. 

The Moody Lagoon Red Blend is a harmonious blend of five red cultivars: Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Inspired by the nearby lagoon, the wine mirrors its ever-changing nature, offering a balance of fruit purity, intensity, and refreshing character.

Veritas Awards showcase South Africa's top wines at exclusive London tasting event. Double Gold winners from the 2023 competition expertly presented in the UK capital, in partnership with Porex SA.

The estate took home the Duimpie Bayly Veritas Vertex Award for the overall champion wine, along with the Best Achiever award and an impressive haul of Double Gold and Gold medals.
