The Benguela Cove Experience
Benguela Cove sits in the Walker Bay wine region, between Hermanus and Cape Town. The estate produces wines that reflect the coastal terroir – cool maritime breezes and diverse soils create distinct flavours.
Our villa accommodation provides a base to explore the estate at your own pace. The self-catering setup gives you flexibility, while the tasting room offers guided experiences with our winemakers. The estate grounds include walking trails, picnic spots, and spaces to relax with a glass of wine. You're also close to Hermanus, the wine route, and other Overberg attractions.

Prize Details

- Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash
- Villa stay subject to availability* (must be booked in advance via stay@benguelacove.co.za)
- Winner selects dates from available periods within six months from the date of winning, by 15 October 2026
- Transport to and from the estate is not included
- Prize does not include meals or additional activities beyond those specified
- Runners up must provide valid ID confirming you are aged 18+ to claim your prize, and upon receipt

When will I know if I've won?
Winners will be contacted directly via phone / WhatsApp and email on Monday, 13 April 2026. We'll announce the winners on Wednesday, 15 April 2026 on our social channels.
How do I book my villa stay if I win?
Contact stay@benguelacove.co.za to arrange your dates. The stay must be booked within six months of winning and is subject to availability.
Can I choose my travel dates?
Yes; your stay must be redeemed between 16 April 2026 to 15 October 2026, excluding all South African public holidays, and long weekends, subject to availability.
What's included in the wine case?
The mixed case features a selection of our award-winning wines, including red, white, and rosé varietals. The runner-up prizes include six bottles each. Free delivery nationwide.
Is transport to the estate included?
No, travel to and from Benguela Cove is not included in the prize. The estate is approximately 15 minutes from Hermanus, and 90 minutes from Cape Town.
Can I enter more than once?
No, only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
What happens if I don't respond within 24 hours?
If you don't respond to our notification within 24 hours, we'll draw a new winner at random from the remaining valid entries.
