Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate is the official Race Village for 2026. Hand your car keys over in Franschhoek, ride through orchards, canola fields and the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, and find your vehicle waiting at the finish. Your villa is two minutes from the line.

Wine Tastings & Pairings 

Start in the tasting room. Cellar Master Johann Fourie's cool-climate range, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah and Pinot Noir, carries the character of Walker Bay's maritime air and the Kogelberg Biosphere in every glass. Ask the team about the current vintages, or book a guided cellar experience in advance.

• Courtyard Eats, enjoy simple favourites, with stunning views and warm service.
• Moody Lagoon Restaurant, Chef Christo Hatting's kitchen runs on seasonal, local produce. Book a table for the post-race celebration. Reservations recommended on race day.
• Blackbeard's Diner, casual and open through the day. Burgers, ice creams and cold drinks on the water. No booking needed.
• Estate Picnic Hampers, order ahead and take a basket to the lawns to watch the finish in comfort. Pre-order here. 

Lagoon Cruises & Vineyard Safari's 

Race day falls in the heart of Walker Bay whale season. Join the Lady Bonnie pontoon cruise to spot southern right whales offshore, African Black Oystercatchers along the shoreline and cormorants in the reed beds. Cruises run subject to availability.  

Or if you prefer, treat your group on an exclusive vineyard safari and journey through our magnificent 200-hectare estate aboard a private safari vehicle. Enjoy unhurried stops among the vines to taste wines crafted from the very grapes surrounding you.
