The July Case: Two Shores of Syrah

Our maritime vineyards capture two distinct expressions of the same coastal landscape this July. The July Case brings together Benguela Cove Estate Syrah 2022 and Lighthouse Shiraz 2022. Grown just a few kilometres apart on our wind-swept Walker Bay vineyards, these wines demonstrate how microclimates alter the character of a single grape variety. To complete this seasonal collection, we include Collage 2023, our flagship Bordeaux-style red blend. 

What's included in this red wine deal?

• 1 x Lighthouse Shiraz 2022. This wine shows the vibrant, upfront side of Walker Bay with bright pepper, fresh violet, and mulberry on the nose alongside softer tannins.
• 1 x Benguela Cove Estate Syrah 2022. Cellar Master Johann Fourie uses an Old-World approach to deliver a savoury, highly structured profile balanced by firm tannins and deep fruit purity.
• 1 x Benguela Cove Collage 2023. Our flagship red blend combines five French varieties to balance bright estate fruit with wood-aged complexity, depth, and a long finish.
• Benguela Cove wine decanter to allow these expressive cool-climate reds to breathe. This exclusive glassware addition is on the house and remains valid *only while stocks last.
