Twelve wines from the coast, and a decanter to pour them from

Twelve bottles from our estate and Lighthouse ranges, chosen by Cellar Master Johann Fourie for the months when the Cape eats outside. A Benguela Cove glass decanter comes with them. We deliver anywhere in South Africa.

R2,890 the case · R241 a bottle · contents to the value of R3,490

The twelve bottles come to R2,890 at the cellar door. The decanter, which sells on its own for R600, is on us. 177 cases only, and the case closes on 31 October.

What arrives

Why these wines drink well together

Our vineyards sit 2 km from the Atlantic, inside the Kogelberg UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Cool sea air slows ripening, so the fruit builds structure rather than sugar. That is why the reds carry pepper and fynbos rather than weight, and why the Cap Classique holds its line through a long lunch.

The case reads as a season. Start with the Brut Rosé while the fire settles. Pour the Lighthouse Syrah and Moody Lagoon with whatever comes off it first. Keep the Estate Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Collage back for the plates that follow, and decant them, which is what the decanter is for.

Frequently asked

How long does delivery take? We ship nationwide and the cost is included in the case price.

Can I collect instead? Yes. Collect at the tasting room, open daily 10:00 to 18:00, 15 km from Hermanus town centre.

How long will these wines keep? The Estate Syrah will hold for up to eight years from vintage. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Collage also reward cellaring. The Cap Classique and Lighthouse Rosé drink best now.

Is the decanter the same one you sell? Yes, the Benguela Cove glass decanter listed in our shop at R600.

What if I want six bottles instead? See the October Six, which includes a tasting for two.
