Six bottles across our estate and Lighthouse ranges, and a Signature Estate Wine Tasting for two at the estate. Drink the wine at home, then come and taste the range it came from. We deliver anywhere in South Africa.

The six bottles come to R1,525 at the cellar door. The tasting, R220 a head, is on us. The case closes on 31 October. 

 

What arrives 

 

What the tasting includes 

Two guests each choose any five wines from the estate range and taste them with a wine ambassador, who talks you through where each one comes from and how it was made. It runs about 45 minutes in the tasting room above the water. Buy wine on the day and you pay cellar door prices. 

Make a morning of it. Moody Lagoon serves lunch over the water, the Lady Bonnie pontoon goes out onto the water, and the estate trail covers 12 km. We are 15 km from Hermanus, about 12 minutes, and 88 km from Cape Town International. 

 

Frequently asked 

How long is the tasting voucher valid? Twelve months from the date of your order, so there is no rush to book.  

Do I need to book the tasting? Walk-ins are welcome, though we recommend booking at weekends. The tasting room is open daily, 10:00 to 18:00. 

What food suits these wines? All six are built for the fire. The Cap Classique Brut Rosé handles anything salty, the Syrah and Moody Lagoon suit lamb and beef, and the Cabernet Sauvignon rewards a slower cut. 

Is there a larger case? The October Twelve holds twelve bottles and comes with a decanter, at R241 a bottle.
