Born from the cool-climate vineyards of Benguela Cove Wine Estate in Walker Bay, Vinography TR3S Chardonnay is a rare, multi-vintage expression of the variety, bringing together three exceptional harvests in one seamless, beautifully layered wine. Crafted by Chief Winemaker Johann Fourie, it unites the vibrant energy of youth with the savoury depth and quiet elegance that only time can bring.

The first impression is pure seduction. Lemon, white peach, grapefruit and nectarine lead into a more intricate world of roasted hazelnut, toasted brioche, oyster shell, nougat and cashew. Subtle spice and hints of lanolin add intrigue, while the oak sits discreetly beneath the surface, allowing the fruit and natural character of the wine to take centre stage.

On the palate, bright citrus and stone fruit meet a creamy, luxurious texture, fine acidity and layers of savoury complexity. Concentrated yet beautifully poised, TR3S delivers depth without heaviness, finishing long, polished and quietly powerful.

Its distinction lies in the art of the blend. Combining 15% 2023, 35% 2024 and 50% 2025 vintage components, TR3S draws inspiration from the blending philosophy of reserve sparkling wines and the solera system. The result is a Chardonnay that transcends a single harvest, expressing the vineyard through the interplay of freshness, maturity and precision.

Produced in extremely limited quantities, with just 640 bottles released, this is a wine for those who appreciate the finer details and understand that true luxury is often found in rarity.
